To ensure accuracy, FEA uses several different types of inspection equipment, including a Brown & Sharpe CMM, a Mituyou Optical Comparator and the FAROArm®.
The FAROArm® coordinate measuring machine is the latest technology in measurement equipment. Accurate to 0.018mm (0.0007 in.), it allows us to inspect, reverse engineer or perform CAD-to-part-analysis on parts, fixtures and assemblies. Unlike previous technologies, the FAROArm® is portable, so it can be used for inspection anywhere. It has a 1.2m (4 ft.) spherical working volume.
